What is Respite Training?

Free training workshops covering a variety of topics designed specifically for respite workers, parents, family & friends and agency staff.

This Respite Training Initiative has been funded by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services, and is focusing on increasing the knowledge and skills of respite workers, families and agency staff about Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and Respite Services.

The Community Crisis Response Network supports persons in crisis whose needs require immediate response from a range of service providers. Connected by formal working partnerships, the Network responds to an immediate crisis and ensures the appropriate linkages for a longer-term solution. The Network assists persons with a developmental disability, an acquired brain injury, a serious mental illness, or a dual diagnosis. Callers can access these services by calling 310-COPE(2673)
