EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT PROGRAMS

Kerry’s Place Central-West Community Services offers several employment programs to assist individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder in achieving their employment goals.

Each of these programs differs in terms of eligibility requirements, availability, and structure to ensure that all individuals expressing an interest in receiving employment supports are able to access them.  In every case, however, Kerry’s Place staff work with participants to determine each individual’s specific employment goals and then to devise and implement a step-by-step plan to achieve those goals.  Staff members are also available to provide one-on-one support throughout the employment process, including job preparation (résumé writing, accessing resources, interview skills, applications, etc.), job searching, on-the-job coaching, as well as ongoing maintenance of established employment situations.

Unfortunately, due to limited resources all employment programs are currently subject to waiting lists of varying lengths.
