Social Group – Peer Buddies

Our social groups run throughout the year for children and youth of various ages with Autism Spectrum Disorder.  A peer buddy is a child who does not have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and who is approximately the same age as the children. The peer buddy’s role within the group is to have fun with the other children while being a role model with respect to social skill development.  A peer buddy may be a sibling, neighbour, or someone who attends the same school as your child.

If you know of a child or youth who might be interested in being a peer buddy, or if you are looking for more information, please call 905-855-4984 Ext. 208.
