|In 1974, 1 in 5,000 people, or 4,400 Canadians, had Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Today, 1 in 88, or 400,000 are diagnosed. What will the next 40 years look like?|
It was forty years ago when six individuals found their home at Kerry’s Place Autism Services. Today, Kerry’s Place supports almost 7,000 people with ASD, making it the largest service provider for people with ASD in Canada. In April 2014, we launch our anniversary and celebrate the efforts invested, the successes today, and the promise of tomorrow’s opportunities to meet the growing needs for supports and services.
