Autism is the fastest growing and most commonly diagnosed disorder affecting children and adults in Canada.

I was proud to inform the House of Commons of the exceptional work being done by organizations like Autism Ontario York Region and Kerry’s Place Autism Services who work tirelessly to improve the lives of people on the Autism spectrum in our community.

I was also very happy to recognize Kayley Ting, an accomplished young scientist from Richmond Hill, who presented her research project, “Analysis of Electrodermal Activity to Quantify Stress Levels in Autism” at the Prime Minister’s Science Fair last week!

Congratulations to Kayley, and thank you to everyone who works to make the world a more accepting and inclusive place!
