La Capital ended the summer with a bang by making a $2000 donation to Kerry’s Place Autism Services (KPAS).
With an aligned vision of providing support for those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), the partnership of La Capital and KPAS is a wonderful way to move forward to raise awareness and funds.
Based out of Quebec, La Capital has a long history in the financial and insurance industry. With a recent move into the Ontario marketplace through company growth, La Capital wanted to give back. Through a newfound companywide focus on corporate and social responsibly, La Capital saw the need to get involved and advocate for those with ASD and the organizations who provide support.
During the month of April, La Capital organized events where staff members could participate by providing a small donation. One of their main events was a successful pancake breakfast. While this was an enjoyable occasion for employees to get to together and share a meal, it also served as a way to raise funds. Donations made by staff members were matched by La Capital and the funds were forwarded to Kerry’s Place.
Over the last several weeks Kate Tansley, Fundraising Manager at KPAS, has been working with Sebastien Dorelas, Communications Specialist at La Capital. Today, the two met with CEO, Sue VanDeVelde- Coke, and Kerry’s Place was presented with a cheque of $2000.
Kerry’s Place Autism Services is pleased to accept this generous donation from La Capital and looks forward to future partnership opportunities.
Thank you La Capital!
