Eleanor Ritchie-Stephen and her son, Paul

In Loving Memory of Eleanor Richie-Stephen

Admirable, compassionate, generous, devoted and thoughtful are only a few words to describe who Eleanor truly was.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother to many who will continue to live in her memory. For those who knew Eleanor, she was a tireless supporter of Kerry’s Place and always present and involved in her son’s life.  She will be dearly missed by her family and many at Kerry’s Place.

The Kerry’s Place team in the Toronto Region had the opportunity to publicly acknowledge and celebrate Eleanor’s legacy of volunteerism over the decades at Kerry’s Place earlier this year when Eleanor was nominated by Kerry’s Place and received an award for her over 20 years of volunteerism from the Minister of Citizenship’s 2015 Ontario Volunteer Service Award.  She and her son attended the event with appreciation and pride.

We are all grateful to have known such an amazing woman like Eleanor.  Together, we will miss her energy, joy and the laughter she always brought to our regional special events and gatherings.

She will be deeply missed.
