Kerry’s Place Autism Services monitors the ongoing recommendations and guidance regarding COVID-19, provided by the Provincial Government and Public Health, to ensure the safety of our employees, the families we support, and our community at large.

Kerry’s Place’s menu of in-person services and supports continues to increase, resulting in an increased presence at our community offices and resource centers.  We continue to maintain safe distance, and wear personal protective equipment in our offices, and our communities.  We continue to actively screen those we support, their families, and visitors upon entering our offices, and when meeting with families in the community.  Services currently being delivered and offered in person include:

  • select social and skill-building groups for children, youth and adults, including summer camps
  • 1:1 respite supports for children and youth
  • 1:1 adult supports
  • 1:1 clinical interventions and mediator-based supports
  • parent and caregiver consultation

We will notify our communities of any changes to our plans.  Kerry’s Place will provide updated communication should our policies or practices change as a result of new recommendations from the Province of Ontario and Public Health. We look forward to continuing to support families, and our communities.
