Fostering Independent Teens (F.I.T.) – Bolton – Ages 10-14

The F.I.T. group fosters social skills and independence through recreational activities by exploring the benefits of recreation and sport. Participants will have the opportunity to develop communication skills build relationships, teamwork skills, and decision-making skills. This group is delivered in partnership between Kerry’s Place Autism Services and Brampton Caledon Community Living.

Participant Age: 10-14
Ratio: 3 participants and 1 staff
Cost: $220

Location: Caledon Centre for Recreation and Wellness, 14111 Hwy 50, Bolton

Sample Session: Wednesday, March 27, 2024
First Session Date: Wednesday, April 10, 2024
Last Session Date: Wednesday, June 12, 2024
Time: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Registration closes: Friday, March 22, 2024

Attending a sample session is required to access this group at Kerry’s Place. Once you have expressed your interest for this sample session, the following steps will occur:

  • Our intake team will review the supported person’s file and if applicable, connect with you regarding any outstanding documentation
  • A Coordinator will call you to discuss the registration to ensure that it aligns with the supported person’s strengths, needs and goals
  • The Coordinator will finalize the registration for the sample session.

Please note: Registration for a sample session does not guarantee a space in this group/camp.
