This live webinar is intended for family members and caregivers who would like to enhance their skills in managing crisis situations, and learn about de-escalation techniques.
Participants will be provided with an overview of the verbal and non-verbal communication concepts and strategies taught in the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® (NVCI-CPI) training program that can help in the support and care of family members, or people they support, with Autism Spectrum Disorder, both at home and in the community.
This webinar is led by NVCI-trained facilitators, and participants will have the opportunity to participate in discussions and ask questions. There is no cost to participate.
Please note: participants will not be certified. Foundational Family Services are available to persons under the age of 18, registered with the Ontario Autism Program.
