CHILDREN

Ontario Autism Program

With ongoing changes to the Ontario Autism Program, Kerry’s Place Autism Services continues to develop and enhance our menu of services and supports available to children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and their families. We continue to deliver high quality supports consistent with the most current research, at a cost that is reasonable to our community. We provided over 400 children and youth evidence-based behavioural services through the Ontario Autism Program this past fiscal period. As the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services rolls out more individualized services to families, Kerry’s Place continues to adapt and customize every evidence-based behavioural support we deliver.

Our menu of service options available through the Ontario Autism Program includes:

  • Evidence-based, individualized and group-based, behavioural services and supports, through in-person and virtual platforms
  • Workshops and Training Courses geared at teaching cutting-edge strategies to persons with ASD
  • Recreation and Respite supports including camp, after-school services, both live, and virtually, along with daytime and overnight respite supports

“BUT THE FUN PART WAS WHEN WE WENT INTO THE COMMUNITY TO PRACTICE THESE NEW SKILLS!”
