Keeping your distance is important during this time but it doesn’t mean it can’t be fun. We can teach you safe but fun ways to keep a distance from friends whether you’re in person or on a virtual platform. You will leave this consultation session with safety habits and fun activities you can share with friends and family.
Disclaimer: This consultation is intended to provide persons with ASD information regarding strategies to support socializing with peers while maintaining an appropriate distance. Depending on the person’s skill level with technology, a mediator may be required to attend the session to assist as needed. An adult must be present if the participant is under the age of 13.
This consultation is led by an Autism Consultant or a Behaviour Therapist. Registrants will have the opportunity to participate in activities and ask questions.
There is no cost to participate. Foundational Family Services are available to persons under the age of 18, registered with the Ontario Autism Program.
