All About You: A Support Group for Children Aged 8-12 Who Have Siblings with a Diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder

This 3-session group provides information about Autism Spectrum Disorder, a safe space for group members to explore and share their feelings, and a forum for group members to meet and connect with others who share common experiences. The group includes a parent debrief at the end of the third session to review the information provided, and discuss strategies parents can use to support their children.

All About You: A Support Group for Children Aged 8-12 Who Have Siblings with a Diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder will be delivered virtually via Zoom. The Zoom link will be e-mailed by Kerry’s Place two business days before the event starts.

To participate, the following is required:

mobile device, tablet or computer
internet connection
speakers and a microphone
webcam

Date: Wednesdays, December 7, 2022 – December 21, 2022
Time: 4:30pm- 5:30pm
Cost: there is no cost to participate

Please note: Registration does not guarantee a space in this webinar. To be eligible, completion of a Kerry’s Place Autism Services intake meeting and additional documentation may be required to attend.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancelled by Kerry’s Place: Kerry’s Place may cancel a program due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, and the activity cannot be rescheduled, a full refund will be issued with no administrative fee charged.

Cancelled by Supported Person/Family (as applicable): Cancellation must be received at least 7 days before the start of the workshop/training. A full refund, minus a $25.00 administrative fee, will be applied when 7 days’ notice is provided. If 7 days’ notice is not provided, a full refund will only be issued if the vacancy can be filled. Refunds will not be issued for a missed day during a training session.
