Breaking Barriers

April 9 @ 7:00pm - 9:00pm

This 10-week group aims to deconstruct misconceptions of sexuality and relationships, while building confident and empowered, female identifying and non-binary, Autistic young adults.  Breaking Barriers will use a combination of teaching, discussion, and self-care strategies to help participants learn to make informed choices about their own sexual relations/partners, contraception, and reproductive healthcare. Participants will also have the opportunity to increase their awareness of warning signs of abuse, across different types of relationships, and learn abuse prevention strategies.

This project is being funded by a grant from The Guelph Community Foundation.
