Family Support Group for Adult Caregivers of Persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder – Caring For Adult Children
This group offers parents and caregivers the opportunity to connect with others, using topic-focused conversation to provide a space to ask questions and gain insight from others with lived experience. Participants may share their successes, and discuss challenges experienced with other parents and caregivers. This offering is for caregivers of adults.
Family Support Group for Adult Caregivers of Persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder will be delivered virtually via Zoom. The Zoom link will be e-mailed by Kerry’s Place two business days before the event starts.
To participate, the following is required:
- mobile device, tablet or computer
- internet connection
- speakers and a microphone
- webcam
Date: Wednesday, November 16, 2022
Time: 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Cost: there is no cost to participate
Please note: Registration does not guarantee a space in this webinar. To be eligible, completion of a Kerry’s Place Autism Services intake meeting and additional documentation may be required to attend.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancelled by Kerry’s Place: Kerry’s Place may cancel a program due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, and the activity cannot be rescheduled, a full refund will be issued with no administrative fee charged.
Cancelled by Supported Person/Family (as applicable): Cancellation must be received at least 7 days before the start of the workshop/training. A full refund, minus a $25.00 administrative fee, will be applied when 7 days’ notice is provided. If 7 days’ notice is not provided, a full refund will only be issued if the vacancy can be filled. Refunds will not be issued for a missed day during a training session.
