WAITLIST: Keeping Safe in a Digital World – Foundational Family Services

This 2½-hour workshop provides parents and caregivers with information and strategies to help safely navigate a child or youth’s online presence and enhance cyber safety. This workshop was developed in collaboration with Halton Regional Police Service.

As a result of participating in this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • describe the importance of online safety
  • identify online risks for persons with ASD
  • define key terms related to online safety
  • implement teaching strategies to support online safety

Time: 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM
Cost: No cost to participate

Keeping Safe in a Digital World will be delivered virtually via Zoom. The Zoom link will be e-mailed by Kerry’s Place staff two business days prior to the day of the scheduled event. Please note: Registration does not guarantee a space in this webinar. To be eligible, completion of a Kerry’s Place Autism Services intake meeting is required, and additional documentation may be required to attend.
