Master Minds: Strategies for Persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder aged 11-13 to Help with School and Homework
This 4-session group will help participants become more independent by providing strategies related to time management, organization, motivation, and problem solving skills. Participants will leave the group with helpful ideas to use when studying or completing homework. This group includes a parent debrief at the end of each session to review the strategies discussed, and how to put these strategies into practice.
Master Minds: Strategies for Persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder aged 11-13 to Help with School and Homework will be delivered virtually via Zoom. The Zoom link will be e-mailed by a Kerry’s Place staff two business days before the event start.
To participate, the following is required:
- mobile device, tablet or computer
- internet connection
- speakers and a microphone
- webcam
Date: Thursdays, October 6 to October 27, 2022 (4 sessions)
Time: 4:30pm to 5:30pm
Cost: there is no cost to participate
Please note: Registration does not guarantee a space in this webinar. To be eligible, completion of a Kerry’s Place Autism Services intake meeting and additional documentation may be required to attend.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancelled by Kerry’s Place: Kerry’s Place may cancel a program due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, and the activity cannot be rescheduled, a full refund will be issued with no administrative fee charged.
Cancelled by Supported Person/Family (as applicable): Cancellation must be received at least 7 days before the start of the workshop/training. A full refund, minus a $25.00 administrative fee, will be applied when 7 days’ notice is provided. If 7 days’ notice is not provided, a full refund will only be issued if the vacancy can be filled. Refunds will not be issued for a missed day during a training session.
