Sibling Workshops are offered once a month to children living in Peel region between the ages of 6 and 13 years old, who have a sibling with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or an intellectual disability. Sibling Workshops focus on shared sibling experiences, learning about Autism Spectrum Disorder, and meeting new people. This group is delivered in partnership between Brampton-Caledon Community Living, Community Living Mississauga, Kerry’s Place Autism Services, and Surrey Place.
Participant Age: Ages 6-13
Ratio: 3 participants to 1 staff
Cost: There is no cost.
Location: Delivered live via Zoom for Professionals and the following are required to participate:

Cancellation Process:
Cancelled by Kerry’s Place: Kerry’s Place may cancel a program due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, and the activity cannot be rescheduled, participants will be notified as quickly as possible and attempts, within reason, will be made to help the attendee enroll in a new session.
Cancelled by Supported Person/Family: For the purposes of effective planning, when possible, Kerry’s Place appreciates five business days’ notice of cancellation before the start of the workshop/training.
