PEERS – Mississauga

The Program for Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS) is a 14-week evidence based social skills program for teens who are interested in learning about developing and maintaining friendships, coordinating get-togethers, distinguishing between public and private information, entering and exiting conversations, and handling arguments, disagreements or bullying.
The program includes a teen group and a parent group which meet concurrently. During each group session, teens are taught important social skills and are given an opportunity to practice these skills in session. Parents will learn to coach their teen in the development and maintenance of these social skills.
- Dates/Times: Thursdays beginning October 17– February 6. No group on Halloween or during Christmas Break. (Due to a scheduling error the start date has been changed from the originally advertised October 3, 2019 date. We are sorry for any inconvenience.)
