Queerly Autistic is a monthly drop-in group for transitional aged youth, ages 14-18 years. There will be different activities every month related to themes of inclusivity, connection to community, and intersectionality. It will be an opportunity for those who identify as both LGBTQ2S+ and Autistic to identify their strengths, build a sense of community and belonging, as well as promote youth empowerment surrounding their dual social-identity. Throughout each session, participants will have the opportunity to discover who they are, who their community is, and how to navigate the world with authenticity and pride.
Session dates: Third Monday of each month (except February, 2024)
Participant Age: 14-18
Ratio: 5 participants and 1 staff
Cost: No Cost
Location: Toronto
Time: 5:00pm to 7:00pm
Please note: Registration does not guarantee a space in this service. To be eligible, completion of a Kerry’s Place Autism Services intake meeting and additional documentation may be required to attend.
