Camps at Kerry’s Place provides full-day opportunities for children and youth. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in group activities, and connect with other participants their age. Activities may include: get to know you games, arts and crafts, science experiments, baking activities, movement breaks, group/collaborative games, virtual field trips, guest facilitators, and much more. Participants will have opportunities to build new and lasting connections while having fun.
Let’s get technical! Join us for a week of exploring new advancements in technology that are allowing us to learn more about the oceans, space, eco-friendly solutions, computers, and human health! Virtual field trips, crafts, coding, and video game development will be incorporated into the activities this week.
Participant Age: 6-17 (Participants will be grouped by those with similar ages, strengths, and goals)
Ratio: 4 participants and 1 staff
Cost: No associated fees
Location: Will be delivered live via Zoom for Professionals and the following are required to participate:

Pre-Screen: Before registration for any group, the child or youth will participate in a group pre-screen. A group pre-screen is an opportunity for the child or youth to see what a group at Kerry’s Place Autism Services looks likes. Based on the staff members’ observations during the group pre-screen, and in consultation with the child or youth and their caregiver, our experienced staff will make recommendations for any service that might best meet the needs of the child or youth. Participating in a group pre-screen does not guarantee that the child/youth will be enrolled in a particular group or service. Pre-screens are valid for 6 months and are only needed once before registering for a group

Canceled Kerry’s Place: Kerry’s Place may cancel a program due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, and the activity cannot be rescheduled, a full refund will be issued with no administrative fee charged.
Canceled by Supported Person/Family: Cancellation must be received at least seven days before the start of the workshop/training. A full refund, minus a $25.00 administrative fee, will be applied when a seven-day notice is provided. If a seven-day notice is not provided, a full refund will only be issued if the vacancy can be filled. Refunds will not be issued for a missed day during a training session.
