The Hub: Summer Camp
AT THE HUB SUMMER CAMP, PARTICIPANTS WILL ENGAGE IN A VARIETY OF ACTIVITIES RELATED TO:
By participating in the The Hub Summer Camp, campers will take part in activities developed to foster their confidence in socializing with others, strengthen their daily living and recreational skills, engage in novel experiences, build new and lasting relationships, and most importantly, have FUN!
Camp groupings will aim to ensure participants are matched with others of similar interests and profiles.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
The Hub Summer Camp is designed for individuals aged 11 to 17 years old with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The service is geared towards those who aspire to build their social understanding and develop relationships with new people while taking part in a variety of group activities.
Camp sessions are either 5 or 9 days in length and run from 9am-3pm.
Camp Support Ratio: 1 consultant to 3 campers.
After registering, orientation sessions will be held in the Spring, for families and participants to attend and learn more about the camp, and meet the team.
Day and evening orientation sessions are available.
Please note that registering on My Community Hub, does not guarantee a camp placement. However, if we are unable to offer your child a camp placement, then we will do our best to connect you with alternative service options to suit your child’s needs.
