The Social – Toronto
Kerry’s Place Autism Services is offering a new initiative for adults who would benefit from an opportunity to enhance their social interactions. At The Social, participants will engage in a variety of activities related to:
- Having conversations
- Maintaining relationships
- Navigating the unwritten rules of social interactions
You will have the chance to go out into the community to practice the skills you learn!
By participating in The Social, individuals will take part in activities developed to foster ones confidence in socialization with others, exploring novel activities, and build new and lasting relationships, and most importantly, have fun!
Sessions will be organized by learning profile to maximize group compatibility.
Who Is Eligible?
Select sessions are designated for individuals 18-30 years old, while others are geared towards 31+ year olds with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Sessions are 14 weeks in duration. The service is geared towards those who aspire to build their social understanding and develop relationships with new people through taking part in a variety of group activities.

- Orientation sessions will be held for interested individuals to learn more about the sessions, and meet the team.
