Participant Age: 14 – 16
Ratio: 3 participants: 1 staff member (6 participants)

Pre-Screening Session: Before registration for the TAY Socials: Pathway to Independence, the youth will participate in a group pre-screening session. A group pre-screening session is an opportunity for the participant to see what a group at Kerry’s Place Autism Services looks likes. Based on the staff members’ observations during the group pre-screening session, and in consultation with the youth and their caregiver, our experienced staff will make recommendations for any service that might best meet the needs of the youth. Participating in a group pre-screening session does not guarantee that the youth will be enrolled in a particular group or service. Pre-screening sessions are valid for 6 months and are only needed once before registering for a group.
Last Available Pre-Screening Session: Wednesday, June 8, 2022
Registration opens: May 9, 2022
Registration closes: June 3, 2022
Cancellation Process:
Cancelled by Kerry’s Place: Kerry’s Place may cancel a program due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, and the activity cannot be rescheduled, participants will be notified as quickly as possible and attempts, within reason, will be made to help the attendee enroll in a new session.
Cancelled by Supported Person/Family: For the purposes of effective planning, when possible, Kerry’s Place appreciates five business days’ notice of cancellation before the start of the workshop/training.
