Transitioning Together is an eight-week online program to help teenagers with ASD, and their parent(s), plan their future after secondary school. This program teaches skills to improve the transition from youth services and supports to the adult service sector across all levels of functioning such as goal setting, problem solving, transition planning and self-advocacy.
Participation in both youth and parent sessions is a requirement of the program.
Date: Wednesdays, April 10 – May 29, 2024
Time: Youth 4:30 PM – 5:45 PM
Parents: 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM
Cost: No cost to participate
Ratio: 4 participants to 1 staff
Transitioning Together will be delivered virtually via Zoom. The Zoom link will be e-mailed by Kerry’s Place staff two business days prior to the day of the scheduled event.
