EmploymentWorks Ontario – Virtual

EmploymentWorks offers training for adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who want to practice and develop the essential skills necessary to get and keep a job. This program involves structured learning sessions, as well as virtual experiential learning, through various online platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Learning, EASy Simulation, virtual opportunities in the community, and open discussions). To participate in the program, the participants need access to a laptop, iPad, or Tablet, and internet access. Accommodation is available for the participants who do not have access to an electronic device and the internet.

Caregiver e-Connect: Caring for Adult Children

As families grow older, lifestyles change. Maintaining the caregiver role may look different when caring for a person with ASD. Connect with others to find support for long term dependence.

Sibling Workshops will be available online via Zoom platform for people living in the PEEL region beginning January 2021.

You2 – A Support Group for Teenage Siblings – Family Foundational Service

You2 is an online group, for adolescents aged 13-17, with a sibling who has a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This group will create a space for the sibling to develop and build on their leadership skills. This group strives to provide siblings with a safe space to express their feelings, learn more about ASD, learn about the way they can positively support their sibling, and to meet and connect with others who may share common experiences.

The All About You is an online support group for children, aged 8-12, with a sibling who has a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This group will offer interactive activities to create a fun space focused on them and their interests.
