Our group readiness curricula helps establish and develop the skills necessary to successfully participate in a group. Using evidence based strategies, the program offers a variety of ways to teach and further expand upon a range of skills that are essential for the school environment and aim to introduce fundamental skills to successfully participate in a group setting. Topics include: transitioning away from caregivers, understanding visual schedules, following individual and group instructions, sharing, waiting, turn taking, and interacting with peers, transitioning between activities and spaces, tolerating others in close proximity.
