Returning to Group Services at Kerry’s Place?
Families are considered returning to group services if your child or youth has either attended a Kerry’s Place group, attended a prescreen session, or completed an Information Gathering Form in the past 12 months.
Once a group registration request is received:
- A Kerry’s Place staff will reach out to you to discuss your child or youth’s strengths and goals, and registration for the specified group(s) requested.
- Your child or youth will be scheduled to attend a sample group session for the specific group being considered for registration.
- A sample group session simulates a typical structure of a specific group session at Kerry’s Place. The sample group session will include other children/youth registering for the same group, and will be held at the same time, day of the week, and location that the group will be offered.

New to Group Services at Kerry’s Place?
For families who have never taken part in the group registration process, an Information Gathering Form is required to be completed, and will be provided following a group registration request. The purpose of the Information Gathering Form is to gather a fulsome understanding of your child or youth’s strengths and goals. Information provided on this form will be used to plan for services and supports that could be of benefit for the supported person.
Once a completed form is received:
- A Kerry’s Place staff will reach out to you to discuss registration for specific groups that align with your child or youth’s strengths and goals.
- Your child or youth will be scheduled to attend a sample group session for the specific group being considered for registration.
- A sample group session simulates a typical structure of a specific group session at Kerry’s Place. The sample group session will include other children/youth registering for the same group, and will be held at the same time, day of the week, and location that the group will be offered.
