To All Our Staff,

This week, Kerry’s Place Autism Services will proudly join organizations across Ontario and celebrate the compassion and crucial work done by all those in the developmental services community.

With the passage of Bill 9: An Act to Proclaim Nonprofit Sector Appreciation Week, the province formally recognizes and honours the contribution of all workers who have dedicated themselves to the care and support of individuals in need.

Your work is “indispensable and heroic, but it is all too often invisible”, and Kerry’s Place would like to you to know that we truly recognize and sincerely appreciate the contributions that you have made to the developmental sector and beyond. The pandemic has no doubt modified the way we work, but your dedication and devotion to the individuals we serve has never wavered. The strength and resilience that you constantly display deserves recognition, and Kerry’s Place is proud to count its staff among the many heroes that are invisible no more.

On behalf of senior leadership and our board of directors, I would like to offer our ongoing and genuine thanks and appreciation for all you have accomplished and achieved.

This week is just one opportunity to celebrate our staff, but every day is an opportunity to show our gratitude and acknowledge how you inspire and lead us, in all you do!

Thank you!
Susan VanDeVelde-Coke
CEO and President
